Refund Policy
We rely on our supporters to help save lives and tackle hunger around the world. Generally, donations to Action Against Hunger are not refundable, as with all charitable donations. Decisions on refunds will be made on a case-by-case basis after analysis of the donation’s circumstances.
Donations and Refunds
Action Against Hunger will consider a refund in the specific circumstances listed below upon a justified request from the donor:
- We will refund your donation if an error was made by Action Against Hunger.
- We will refund your donation if it was made unknowingly, for example, if a donation was made with a stolen or lost card.
- We will refund your donation if you entered the wrong amount by accident.
- We will refund your donation if you have accidentally set up a monthly donation when you intended to make a one-off donation.
- We may refund in other similar exceptional circumstances.
Refund Terms and Conditions
To request a refund of your donation to Action Against Hunger, please fill out the form below within 30 days of making the donation, including if you wish to request a refund for a monthly donation. As your donation is used immediately to address acute hunger and malnutrition in the countries where we work, Action Against Hunger cannot refund donations beyond 30 days.
We can only issue a refund to the same card or account used for the donation. This includes all credit and debit card payments, PayPal, direct debit, and all other payment methods currently available at our website.

Upon receipt, we will review your request and respond within 2 business days. If the request is accepted, we will process the refund as soon as possible. Please note that it may take 10-14 business days for a refund to reach your account.
